A quaet town next to the river Kwai, famous for the Death railway and the bridge. The railway was built by the POWs under the controll of the Japanese during the second world war. Thousands of prisoners where worked to death under terribal conditions. ...

A tranquill town, still a bit touresty but I think that is a theme accross Thailand. Lots of waterfalls, hot springs, caves and beautifull mountain views.
